How to import customers

How to Import new customers into Roundsman using a CSV

Warning: This process is intended to import new customers. Some of the fields in the attached template will apply updates to existing customers and others do not.
if you are intending to use this process to update existing customers please check with support before doing so.

Export the attached CSV template and enter the required details.

Important: Do not alter, remove or add any of the column headers. Roundsman is hard-coded to look for those specific columns when the file is imported.

Note: some of the fields in the template have to be in a certain format:

  • Start Date - has to be in DD/MM/YYYY format

  • Monday - has to be blank or a numeric value

  • Tuesday - has to be blank or a numeric value

  • Wednesday - has to be blank or a numeric value

  • Thursday - has to be blank or a numeric value

  • Friday - has to be blank or a numeric value

  • Saturday - has to be blank or a numeric value

  • Sunday - has to be blank or a numeric value

Once you have filled in the template:

  1. Click on the Customers Tab

  2. Imports

  3. Import Customers
