Arranging an upgrade

I would like to arrange an upgrade for our Roundsman application and/or Portal

If you would like us to arrange an upgrade for your Roundsman system, please raise a case with us

๐Ÿ“ŒNote: Your system must be running a minimum of SQL and Windows Server 2022 in order to be compatible with the latest versions of Roundsman and ensure system security

  • If you have arranged extended support with Microsoft, please let us know.

  • The upgrade could potentially take around an hour to fully complete and be checked before being handed back to you.

    • The application will be upgraded first, and during this time, the system will be unavailable and your users will need to be out of the system.

    • The portal (If applicable) will then be upgraded, During this time, the portal will be offline, but the application itself will be usable.

    • If the upgrade is a patch for example 4.0.24.6 to 4.0.24.8, your users can remain in the system. We will advise at the time of requesting the upgrade if this is the case.

  • Upgrades can be booked in to start no later than 12:00, Monday to Thursday. This is in order to ensure that the system is fully back up before the end of business hours. It also ensures that both the Support and Development teams are on hand during and immediately after the upgrade to handle any issues that might arise.

  • We will require three business days' notice to schedule this into our workload.

The Support and Development teams will be on hand to monitor the upgrade as it goes through. If you experience any system issues after the upgrade, please raise a separate case with the support team. This issue will be looked into and escalated to the developers as required
