When a customer is linked to two rounds, for example, after moving between rounds or appearing on both an old and a new round, standing orders can be pulled through to both. Follow the steps below to identify and resolve the duplication.
⚠️ Important: You need Administrator rights to run the ‘Regenerate Future Jobs’ function. If you do not have Administrator access, ask your Roundsman administrator to complete the steps on your behalf.
Check the customer’s round assignments in Roundsman to identify the duplicate customer linkage.
Run the Regenerate Future Jobs function for the affected customer to clear the duplicated future jobs.
Confirm the customer is assigned to the correct round and that future jobs are no longer duplicated.
Raise a support case if the duplication recurs after regeneration. Include the customer account number and the round numbers involved.
📌 Note: In multi-round mode, a customer can legitimately appear on different rounds on different days. The goal is to ensure future jobs are correct, not to restrict the customer to a single round.
⚠️ Warning: Duplicate standing orders can result in customers being charged incorrectly or receiving the wrong number of deliveries. Check affected orders before the next round generation after applying any fix.
If you are unable to resolve the duplication using the steps above, or if the issue is affecting a large number of orders, raise a support case. Include the version you are running, the account numbers affected, and a screenshot of the duplicate lines.
